The Holocaust was not the only large genocide in the world. Many other serious ones have happened after it. We should recognize this and help prevent them.

The Post that will Save The World

My learning of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals has made my life different in many ways. One way is that I have become different is that I turn off the lights when I leave the room whenever I can so I can save as much energy as possible. I also donate money to charity that I see at the grocery store because I know it goes to a good cause. I can see myself in the future having a side job working for a charity or an institution like a soup kitchen to help reduce poverty and hunger in my city. I believe I could set an example that other people notice and follow, making other people follow them and eventually have an effect on the world when lots of people are following my example and helping the less fortunate.

2016 Political Issues that I Learned About

There were lots of issues that I learned about during my study of the United States election. These include issues like that there were so much more political issues in our country than just what is on the news, like the T.P.P. I had never heard of that before. I also learned that I agree with people like Donald Trump, whereas before I thought him and I agreed on nothing. And Hillary Clinton agrees with him in places, which surprised me. Something else is that there are more political parties than just Democrat and Republican. And when you vote, you have to know that each choice has their own set of pros and cons. I was able to figure out that I am a more liberal person, rather than a conservative one. I learned that there are also more than 2 candidates, which took me by surprise. I was able to learn a lot, like how the government is thinking about raising the federal minimum wage. I learn what things I stand by, and what I oppose.

Types of Questions and some Google Search Tips....

I should use both open and closed questions so I could find a variety of answers to something that I want to know. I could find out more about a topic when I ask both closed and open questions. For example, when I have to take a survey in school, I could ask an open question, like “What is your favorite food?”. That is an open question, and if I am taking a survey, I need to have open questions because not everyone will have the same favorite food. That is one example of open question use. When you ask a closed question, there is only one right answer, like if it is a math problem or a date, for some examples.

You ask closed questions if you want one specific answer to your question, not a variety of answers like an open question.

You should use Google search tips to be more efficient and specific with your search, so you can save time searching. Some tips I often use are the quote marks (“...”), which makes Google search the words inside the quotes in the exact order that they are in. I also use the minus sign (-), and when it is placed in front of a word, Google will exclude that word from your search. Those are two tips that I use often to make my search more specific, and help me find my answer more quickly.
